ABOUT ME
Born in Ukraine, I represented Russia throughout my professional volleyball career and have spent the last two decades living in Switzerland, at the heart of the Olympic Movement in Lausanne. Having lived in nine countries and travelled to more than one hundred, I bring a truly international perspective to sport, leadership and business.
My sporting journey began with the Soviet National Team in 1991 and continued through nearly 500 appearances for the Russian National Team. I competed in three consecutive Olympic Games, winning silver medals at Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004, alongside four European Championship titles, three World Championship bronze medals and numerous individual awards.
Following my retirement from professional volleyball in 2004, I completed a Master's degree in Sports Administration (AISTS) in Lausanne and transitioned into the global sports industry.
Over the past 20 years, I have held leadership roles with UEFA, FIVB, Volleyball World, IBA and the Volleyball Foundation, specialising in commercial growth, marketing, sponsorship, media rights, brand development and major events.
During my 14 years at FIVB, I contributed to the transformation of volleyball and its flagship events, while also working on Olympic volleyball competitions at London 2012, Rio 2016, and Paris 2024.
Most recently, as Executive Director of the Volleyball Foundation, I helped launch and develop initiatives using volleyball as a tool for education, inclusion, gender equality and community development around the world.
Today, I help athletes, leaders and sports organisations unlock their next chapter of growth and impact.
As Co-Founder of Bracht Consulting and Co-Founder of Maison du Volley, I combine strategic advisory, speaking and entrepreneurial projects focused on leadership, athlete development and the future of sport.
I am particularly passionate about two topics that have shaped my own journey: Life After Sport and Women Leadership in Sport. Through consulting, mentoring and keynote speaking, I help individuals and organisations navigate change, build confidence and create meaningful impact beyond performance.
